Talyst's CEO is Nominated for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award

BELLEVUE, Wash., March 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Carla Corkern, Chief Executive Officer at Talyst, was nominated for the Ernest & Young Entrepreneur award. The award recognizes entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures.

The program originated in 1986 and has grown to 26 programs in the United States, expanding to more than 140 cities around the world.

Corkern has over 20 years of experience in science and technology. Prior to joining Talyst, Corkern served as Chief Operations Officer at Vykor, Inc., a leading company in the management of the aerospace supply chain.
