Omnicell to Showcase Latest Product Innovations at ASHP

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Omnicell, Inc., (Nasdaq: OMCL) a leading provider of medication management solutions to acute healthcare facilities, will display its latest innovations during the 45th American Society for Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition from December 6-8 in Anaheim, California.  New solutions being unveiled or previewed include the new Omnicell Savvy™ mobile medication system; PandoraVIA™ 2.0 reporting and analytics; a new Omnicell Refrigerator System; CardinalASSIST®, an automated process to replenish drugs in efficient units of measure; enhanced SafetyStock® software for bar code verification; a new Controlled Substance Management System; and WorkflowRx™ 7.0 central pharmacy automation software.
