Endoscopic diagnosis and treatment, an established modern technology, has developed into a new discipline, endoscopic medicine, with talented young endoscopy doctors around the world. Five years ago, the National Examination and Evaluation Committee for Endoscopic Skills was founded. At the time, the Chinese Endoscopy Doctors Association had issued Endoscopy Doctors Treatment Skills Evaluation Standards, Endoscopy Doctors Treatment Skills Training and Testing Center Construction Standards, and had issued standards for Management Regulation of Endoscopy Doctors Treatment Skills Training and Testing Centers. Over 300 National Endoscopy Training and Testing Centers of the Ministry of Health have been founded to conduct training for 970,000 endoscopy doctors and skilled professionals.
