myMatrixx's Phil Walls, R.Ph. Receives National and Regional Recognition

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- myMatrixx®, a full-service pharmacy and ancillary medical benefits management company for worker's compensation, announced today that Phil Walls, R.Ph., Chief Clinical & Compliance Officer, has been named a finalist in two prestigious awards programs. The first is Health Care Heroes hosted by the Tampa Bay Business Journal in which Phil is a finalist in the Medical Professional Non-Physician category. Phil will be recognized with other honorees at an awards ceremony on October 13 for making a significant impact in the region's health care community.

Phil has also been named a finalist in The Dorland Health People Awards, a national program recognizing healthcare professionals in the Pharmacist category. The Dorland awards honors individuals who are making a difference in transitioning the patient through the complicated healthcare landscape. Phil will be honored at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., on October 20 where the award winners will be announced.
