Medical Alarm Concepts™ Announces Roll-Out of the Second Phase of the MediPendant™ Marketing Campaign at Albertsons LLC Grocery Stores
Date:12/12/2011

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Dec. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCQ:MDHI), manufacturer of the MediPendant™, the first fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows you to speak and listen directly through the pendant, announced today its plans for the second phase of its MediPendant™  medical alert system marketing campaign at Albertsons LLC grocery stores.

Under the terms of the distribution agreement signed in March of last year, the Company's MediPendant™ alarm device is offered by Albertsons LLC in its grocery chain stores within the pharmacy section. In this second marketing phase, a more aggressive campaign will take place with a bag stuffer/coupon offer directly in the prescription bags, as they are handed to the customer.  The offering of the Company's MediPendant™ program to customers of Albertsons LLC will also include one (1) free month of monitoring services, and a lockbox device that enables the ambulance personnel to get into the home without having to break down the door.

"We are very pleased to announce that Albertsons LLC will continue to offer our next generation personal emergency response system in their stores.  Albertsons LLC currently operates 207 stores with pharmacies in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas. We believe that this marketing initiative will increase customer volume substantially," said Howard Teicher, CEO of Medical Alarm Concepts Holding. Customers that miss the medical alarm information in the store will now have the details handed directly to them when they pick up their prescriptions. We believe in this partnership, and are confident that it will continue to grow and open doors for additional distribution agreements with leading retail chains.  The MediPendant™ technology with two-way voice directly through the pendant and a range of 600 feet continues to gain interest and market
