Lilly for Better Health™ Launches Enhanced Multi-Channel Patient Education Platform

INDIANAPOLIS, June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lilly for Better Health™, a program of Lilly USA, LLC, (NYSE: LLY) that helps Americans live healthier, more active lives, launches an enhanced multi-channel platform designed to reach patients where they like to receive health information. The platform includes an array of patient education materials, Lilly programs and partnerships that help patients manage their health, a dynamic website – lillyforbetterhealth.com – and, coming soon, the Lilly Health Channel on YouTube.

A hub for quality health and wellness materials, www.lillyforbetterhealth.com provides practical tips on healthy eating, physical activity and stress management. It empowers patients with information on managing health conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease and depression. Visitors will find more than a dozen interactive health and wellness quizzes, risk assessments and tools on topics such as body mass index, diabetes, cancer and mental illness.
