eTransX Unveils Latest Version of Its eTX HEMI

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- eTransX recently unveiled the latest version of eTX HEMI (Health Enterprise Messaging and Integration Engine), its application integration engine. Version 6 delivers on the simple premise: make it easy to integrate disparate healthcare information systems. The latest version of the engine offers substantial performance improvements through 64-Bit computing and enhancements that generate greater efficiencies in creating HL7 interfaces between software applications.

With eTX HEMI Version 6, we've improved everything from performance and analytics to interface libraries and security."

eTX HEMI has been a collaborative process, with eTransX engineers and designers working with customers to identify the most desirable functions. The 64-bit computing increases memory to run applications providing more processing capacity to handle more HL7 interfaces and a significantly larger volume of transactions with a single engine instance.

The Intelligent Auto Mapping is an impressive time saving feature. While point-and-click interface mapping was a much needed innovation in HL7 interface development, it still is a relatively time consuming process. eTX HEMI's intelligent mapping process enables the engine to map the fields automatically based on the field names or position. Users can map 80% or more of the fields with a click of the mouse.

The new Transaction Dashboard for Version 6 demonstrates additional value for its users. This user friendly module provides complete transparency into HL7 integration information ranging from individual interface configurations and transaction content to a general snapshot of everything that eTX HEMI has been processe
