e-novex Unveils edc2go, High-Quality and Cost-Containing EDC
Date:12/2/2013

ANTWERP, Belgium, December 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

e-novex, a global provider of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) services, today announced the release of edc2go, a revolutionary EDC platform.

edc2go allows users to set-up and publish an electronic Case Report Form (e-CRF) in a matter of hours, instead of weeks or months. Users can build their own e-CRF using drag and drop or start from a template that contains a collection of visits and forms that exist in every clinical trial CRF.

edc2go is a Software as a Service (SaaS) that requires a web-browser only. It features secure access management, crystal clear reporting and it is built on industry standards that leverage the true power of cloud computing while creating a modern, flexible and validated platform to collect sensitive research data.

"EDC has come a long way from Remote Data Capture (RDC) in the 1990's to the e-Clinical spectrum of today," said Bart Segers, Managing Director at e-novex. "The integration of data capture functionality in software for randomization, safety management, coding, payment administration and supply management became increasingly more effective over the last decade. EDC provides higher quality and cleaner data, more efficient processes and near real-time access to data. The release of edc2go today marks an era where EDC actually becomes more cost-effective than paper CRF."

edc2go complements e-novex' flagship e-capture.net and Core Lab Tracker applications.
