iabetes from ages 13 and older. The practice opened on Nov. 1, 2005 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to provide access to care for patients with diabetes. It serves a patient population of a 75-mile radius on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Diabetes Center actively monitors over 400 patients with insulin pumps, digitally downloads pumps and meters, leading to optimal treatment and care. The clinic offers free carb counting, advance pumping, advance sensor, and overview diabetes education classes.  The nurse practitioner, KC Arnold won the 2007 Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur of the year from Advance Magazine and the clinic won the Health Information and Management Systems (HIMSS) 2010 Ambulatory Davies Award.  For more information please visit, www.kcdiabetes.com.
