Digitron Appoint Gerry Casillas as New US Sales Manager

He said: "Digitron's temperature instruments are designed to help businesses easily comply with strict food hygiene standards and can save money both by avoiding potential fines of thousands of dollars and cutting food wastage."

Casillas has more than 14 years sales management experience, most recently with Stanley Works where he worked for 11 years, helping build industrial and commercial brands including Stanly, Bostitch, Husky, Fat Max and CST Laser Instruments. His most recent post was as the Key Account Manager for the South West, where he developed relationships with top distributors in the region and launched new products to market.

Casillas intends to build Digitron sales directly and through a network of distributors. He added: "Digitron's research and development capability to bring forward innovative bespoke systems helps to set us apart and I expect this to be of great interest across a variety of industry sectors."

Under a new management team, led by Neill Ricketts, Managing Director of Digitron and parent division Elektron Ventures, the 40-year-old UK headquartered company is strategically rationalising and redeveloping its range of instruments to reflect a new generation of customer needs as well as bringing forward bespoke products for multi-national clients.

Digitron is part of the Elektron Ventures division of Elektron plc.
