Cochlear™ Americas Launches Smartphone App for Baha® 3 Recipients
Date:2/23/2012

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cochlear Americas, the world's leading implantable hearing solutions company, announced today that it has launched its new support app for Baha 3 recipients.

The Cochlear Baha® Support App, which can be downloaded for free from the App Store or from the Android Market, provides information and assistance for Baha users wherever they may be, and whenever they may need it.

Developed from user feedback, the app helps Baha recipients find answers to common questions in order to get the most out of their sound processor. It also provides simple answers for recipients if they do not know what to do in any given situation; for example, what should users do if their Baha processor gets wet?

The app contains both text and video assistance for troubleshooting, adjusting, cleaning, travelling with and maintaining the hearing device.

"With our new Baha Support App, we have made it simple for our recipients to get answers to common questions, providing them with a level of assurance wherever they are and whenever they need it," says Anthony Manna, President of Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions.
