MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- City Medical, P.C., the principal provider of high-quality, community-focused health care for Madison Heights and Southgate, Michigan, today announced that it has added a new digital X-ray machine at its Madison Heights office .

The new Agfa-Viztek Opal-RAD CR Digital System is a state-of-the-art, X-ray machine that allows for digital images to be captured instantly, displayed within seconds and if necessary, sent immediately to radiologists for immediate evaluation.

"This digital X-ray machine is going to have a very positive impact on our patient care and satisfaction," said Dr. Thomas Pinson, Chief of Staff at City Medical, PC. "The machine enables images to be captured instantly and displayed within seconds. This not only cuts down on the wait time, it also leads to a faster and more accurate diagnosis."

The new technology is also eco-friendly, eliminating the need for X-ray film, processor chemicals and film storage.
