Zarbee's Introduces a New Extra Strength Line of Natural Cough Products for Adults and Children 12+ in Time for Cough and Cold Season
Date:9/4/2012

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Zarbee's, the fastest-growing cough remedy in the country, today announced the launch of its new line of over-the-counter extra strength all natural cough products for adults and children 12 years and up. The new extra strength products will supplement the existing line of Zarbee's original cough products currently available for children 12 months and up. The new range will make all natural Zarbee's the #1 drug-free cough remedy for the entire family.

Launching just in time for the 2012 cough and cold season, Zarbee's creator, pediatrician and father Dr. Zak Zarbock, developed the extra strength products in response to the overwhelming response from parents in search of a natural alternative to coughs that their children have relied on since the creation of Zarbee's.

"As the desire for natural and effective remedies grows and there continues to be concern surrounding drug-based over the counter products, adults are realizing that they too need a safe alternative for treating coughs and colds," says Dr. Zarbock. "This season, parents, adults, seniors, moms-to-be and nursing women can all rest assured that they will be able to find effective and natural relief with the new line of products from Zarbee's," he adds.

The new extra strength products are specially formulated at a higher strength and dose than the original children's product that was developed after a clinical published in the Archives of Pediatrics. The trial demonstrated not only that drug-based cough syrups don't work in children, but also that a natural ingredient was effective – natural dark honey. This discovery led to the creation of Zarbee's – a cough syrup that combines the beneficial properties of a special dark honey blend and immune-boosting Vitamin C and Zinc. The result is a remedy that is not only natural and drug-free, but clinically proven to calm coughs and soothe sore throats in a safe and effective
