ZONARE Scores in Clinical Applications, Performance and Customer Support & Service in KLAS 2011 Ultrasound Report

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ZONARE Medical Systems, a global developer of high-end ultrasound systems, today announced it ranked highest in performance across a number of clinical applications and ranked first or second in several customer support and service categories in the KLAS  "Ultrasound 2011: Innovation on the Move" report.

According to KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting the performance of information technology and medical imaging vendors in the healthcare field, ZONARE has moved from a point-of-care solution to a real option in general imaging with strong performance across a variety of clinical applications.  

In the report, ZONARE outperformed other vendors in several aspects of the "Service & Support" category, including "Quality of Phone/Web Service" and "Proactive Service".  In the "Sales & Contracting" categories, ZONARE achieved a 100 percent ranking in the "avoids nickel-and-diming" grouping.
