Within3 Expands into Mobile Applications
Date:12/10/2009

CLEVELAND, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Within3, the leading provider of online communities for health professionals, announced the release of mobile applications for both the Blackberry and iPhone. A surge of customer requests fueled the need for a handheld solution that integrated with the communities on the Within3 platform.

"It became apparent the health professionals we serve were looking for alternative channels to access the activity and discussions occurring within their communities, in a format most convenient in their daily lives," said Lance Hill, CEO, Within3. "The result is a highly intuitive mobile application set that will provide registered members of participating Within3 communities, secure and instant interactions."

Within3 is working with early customers to introduce these mobile applications into their online communities.

The User Experience Team at Within3 spent much of 2009 researching, analyzing and testing the most intuitive means to foster communication and enable collaboration on a handheld device.

Chief Experience Officer, Faith Chiang said, "We know that mobile is not about making everything smaller to fit into a handheld device. It's about using time as a design factor and developing the most interactive and effective five second experiences that complement a physician's busy lifestyle."

With the launch of these multiple mobile options, Within3 customers, who include hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and medical associations, can brand the applications specifically for their online community, providing an additional value-added feature for its members in the format of their choice.
