Date:5/4/2013

LONDON, May 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

1st May was the British and Irish Lions 2013 selection which determines the selected rugby players to play in Australia for the summer. Two of the players selected for the 37 man squad include Ben Young and Tommy Bowe who are both delighted at the opportunity to travel across the world to play this competitive sport.

A very overwhelmed Ben Young spoke of his recent success stating: "It hasn't really sunk in yet as it has always been a dream, but that's all it's ever been. It is the pinnacle so it is very hard to describe. I have had some very proud moments in my career but this is the biggest achievement of my life. It is the ultimate dream."

Both Ben and Tommy are two of the lucky rugby stars who have achieved their places in the small selection and a lot of their health, fitness, stamina and determination is down to Kinetica Sports. Kinetica is a sports nutrition company who have a lot to be responsible for as they have and still do contribute towards Ben and Tommy's hard work and training as they cater a huge selection of Whey protein supplements in many forms which are ideal for professional sports players like Ben and Tommy.

Speaking of Kinetica Sports, Tommy added: "I believe I have got to where I am today through hard work and training, my relationship with Kinetica Sports and their sports nutrition expertise have a lot to be responsible and take credit for".

Ben who is following in the footsteps of his brother Tom who also plays for The Tigers also commented on his relationship with Kinetica Sports by saying: "Kinetica have really helped towards my health and fitness regimes to ensure I am constantly at the top of my game, and they are a 100% safe and drugs tested company which is vital to know in the sports industry."

The British and Irish Lions also known as, The Lions, are one of the toughest tours to participate in as each of the rugby players will be under a tremendous amount of pressure. To even be considered for The Lions you have to be in an immense shape and to have played an impressive and outstanding amount of rugby to get yourself noticed.
