Westpak Doubles Real Time Aging Medical Device Package Test Capacity

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Responding to growing demands from medical and pharmaceutical companies, Westpak, Inc. opens a newly expanded 2,200 cubic foot temperature and humidity controlled room for medical device package validation preconditioning.

Validated to maintain temperature and humidity at 23˚C and 50% relative humidity 24 hours/7days/365 days, Westpak's added capacity offers customers a more economical means to comply with medical device package validation preconditioning commonly required per ASTM D4169, ASTM F1980 and ISO 11607.

"We are offering our customers the ability to cost-effectively perform Conditioning, Real Time and Accelerated Aging that will reduce development lead time and shorten product time-to-market," states Aaron Suarez, Director of Engineering.
