Date:6/24/2015

NEW YORK and PORTLAND, Ore., June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellpartner, Inc. congratulates AIDS Service Center NYC (ASCNYC) on its highly successful 2nd annual Broadway's Best in Drag event, which was held at Manhattan's Abrons Art Center on Monday, May 11. The event preceded NYC's Pride celebration scheduled for June 21-28.

Attendee and Wellpartner's Head of Marketing, Julee Whalin stated, "ASCNYC definitely puts the 'fun' in fundraising. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening—talent was out in abundance and I was really pulling for contestant Sasha Velour. However, I feel the right Queen did win in the end; congratulations DelightedToBeHere! We were proud to be there representing Wellpartner, as ASCNYC organizers did a phenomenal job putting this together.  We are pleased to sponsor this highly organized, resourceful and socially relevant organization."

ASCNYC billed the event as "a celebration of community and a chance for us to grow our reach and build awareness as well as have a fabulous evening and a lot of fun." Funds raised by ASCNYC help tens of thousands of New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions achieve and maintain health, housing, recovery, and self-sufficiency.

We share a common interest in helping those with HIV/AIDS. Wellpartner's industry-leading, nationwide 340B program administration helps covered entities optimize 340B savings, while maintaining program integrity. The federal 340B drug discount program is a crucial lifeline for safety net providers, which includes HIV/AIDS clinics funded through the Ryan White program, providing access to lower-priced prescription drugs.

"As we carry out this vital work, we're thrilled to have Wellpartner in our community of Positive Change makers—and are grateful for their support. Our partnership with Wellpartner ultimately supports access to treatment and care to hundreds of New Yorkers living with HIV," said ASCNYC Executive Director/CEO, Sharen I. Duke.

Wellpartner plans a strong, national presence throughout 2015, at significant events and exhibitions relative to 340B-associated causes and programs. Visitors to the upcoming 340B Coalition Summer Conference in Washington, D.C. can speak live to company representatives at Booth #8 from July 13-15.  At the Conference, Wellpartner will be hosting a guest speaker Luncheon on Monday; a Stakeholder Breakfast on Tuesday followed by a Cocktail Party at the PDR that Tuesday evening immediately following adjournment. All are welcome.
