Viztek Launches ViZion DR Rad Room Straight Arm - Cost Effective Solution Ideal for Imaging Centers, Urgent Care, and Private Practice
Date:2/14/2012

RALEIGH, N.C., Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Viztek, the digital imaging solution provider, announced today the launch of the ViZion DR Rad Room Straight Arm. The DR solution, exclusively sold from Viztek is ideal for various settings that require a low cost and space-saving solution; the ViZion DR Straight Arm offers superior image quality, available PACS integration, and access to Viztek's front-end software.

The complete ViZion DR Rad Room package includes a 17x17 Gadolinium panel running on Opal-Acquire software. Optional integration with the Opal PACS is available, which enables practices to enjoy better workflow with the added convenience of tablet integration.

"Our new straight arm DR solution utilizes Gadolinium to produce images at a quality that simply did not exist a few years ago," said Steve Deaton, Vice President of Sales. "Ideal for smaller hospital facilities and urgent care centers, the unit's small footprint provides healthcare practitioners with an easy to operate digital solution. It eliminates the considerable expense of a traditional ceiling suspended x-ray setup with no reduction in quality."

Image quality with the ViZion Straight Arm DR is superb, and it frees the technologist to be able to position the machine around the patient, often reducing time spent in the room.
