Virtual Radiologic Ranked #1 for Teleradiology Services for Third Consecutive Year
Date:1/11/2011

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Virtual Radiologic (vRad), a technology-enabled national radiology practice, has again been ranked "Best in KLAS" in the Teleradiology Services market segment by independent research and consulting firm KLAS. This ranking measures performance based upon customer surveys and interviews conducted by KLAS and is published in the organization's 2010 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services report.

In both 2008 and 2009, vRad was named Category Leader for Teleradiology Services under Other Professional Services. For the first time this year, KLAS designated Teleradiology Services as a "Best in KLAS" market segment, with vRad earning the inaugural top ranking.

"Since 1998, the objective of the Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards report has been to help healthcare providers make informed decisions," said KLAS President Adam Gale. "The Best in KLAS distinction represents a commitment to meeting customer expectations, and we congratulate the vendors making strides in every phase of customer relations—from the sales presentation to implementation to ongoing service and support."

According to the report, vRad received the highest overall score when compared to other national teleradiology providers. As the top-ranked teleradiology company, vRad earned the 2010 Best in KLAS distinction, recognizing its leadership in meeting customer expectations.

"We are honored to have earned the distinction of being ranked by KLAS as the number one national teleradiology service provider," said Rob Kill, President and Chief Executive Officer of vRad. "In the KLAS research, 100% of our clients surveyed indicated that they would choose us again. This feedback confirms the value clients place in vRad as a partner they can trust to provide their patients with the high quality care they need, when they need it."
