Virtual Event Dedicated to Cutting-Edge Trends in Implantable Medical Devices Offers Sessions on Orthopedic and Cardio Applications

Multiple speaker and chat sessions follow the keynote address. In the first session, The Implant Surface and Beyond, speakers Mark Amrich, Vice President of Etched Products at Tecomet and Ryan Siskey, Manager of Biomechanics at Exponent will discuss critical components for the most effective performance when working with implant surfaces.

Other sessions include: The Ultimate Power Struggle, Innovation in Implantable Device Design, and Wireless Communication in Home Healthcare. The final session, Biomaterials That Won't Skip a Beat, includes multiple presentations by biomaterials experts including Jeffrey Koslosky, Director of Technology and Product Development at Secant Medical. This presentation will focus on the various methods used to create biomedical textiles and the range of materials used to design in the unique physical and mechanical properties leveraged in medical devices.
