Varian Medical Systems Schedules Investor Meeting at ASTRO in San Francisco

PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) will hold a meeting for investors on Tuesday, September 16, at the annual meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) in San Francisco.

Varian will host a meeting with management, beginning with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and webcast presentations from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, 780 Mission Street, in the Nob Hill meeting room.  Presentations by leading clinicians and Varian managers will focus on clinical needs in radiation oncology and how they are being addressed.
