Valeant Pharmaceuticals to Present at Industry Conferences

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Sept. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (NYSE: VRX) (TSX: VRX) today announced that certain members of its senior management team will be participating at the following conferences:

J. Michael Pearson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer will make a presentation at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Healthcare Conference 2011 in London on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 10:35 a.m. BT (5:35 a.m. ET).

Rajiv De Silva, President, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. and Chief Operating Officer, Specialty Pharmaceuticals will make a presentation at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference in New York on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Live webcasts and audio archives of the presentations will be available on the company's Web site at www.valeant.com. Click on Investor Relations, and then the link to Events and Presentations. Participants should allow approximately five to ten minutes prior to the presentation's start time to visit the site and download any streaming media software needed to listen to the Internet webcast.
