MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Aug. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (NYSE: VRX) (TSX: VRX) announced that effective August 19, 2011, the company completed its previously announced acquisition of AB Sanitas (NASDAQ OMX: SAN1L).
