VWR International, LLC Acquires AMRESCO Inc.

RADNOR, Pa., Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VWR International, LLC, a global leader in distributing laboratory supplies and services, announced today that it has acquired AMRESCO Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of high quality biochemicals and reagents for Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, Proteomics, Clinical and Histology areas of research and production.

Founded in 1976 and based in Solon, Ohio, AMRESCO supplies standard and custom products to the Diagnostics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Research Specialty Chemicals customers.
