Date:9/20/2013

LONG BEACH, N.Y., Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DIATON tonometer, aka Glaucoma Eye Test, the world's only through the eyelid, non-corneal tonometer available to general, primary and family physicians to quickly and painlessly screen for glaucoma in an in-office setting without directly touching the eyeball or using the numbing drops, is presented at Pri-Med East in Boston and at the American Academy of Family Physicians Scientific Assembly in San Diego by BiCOM Inc.

Sixty million Americans are at RISK for developing Glaucoma. Glaucoma is usually symptomless and vision loss is irreversible. Timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment are key to glaucoma prevention.

Most insurance companies require Glaucoma testing as part of the Preventive Care Services Act.

General, primary and family physicians, who are on the forefront of seeing patients at risk of glaucoma each day, now are able to use Diaton tonometer for quick glaucoma IOP exam and refer patients with elevated pressure to an eyecare professional.

Individuals at higher risk include African Americans over age 40; everyone over age 50, especially Mexican Americans; and people with a family history of glaucoma and diabetes.

Today, unique Diaton tonometer pen http://www.TonometerDiaton.com allows intraocular pressure (IOP) to be measured easier & safer than ever before in an in-office setting. Diaton Tonometry is a unique approach of measuring IOP through the upper eyelid, without the need for eye drops, never touching the cornea, reducing risk of infection and allowing maximum comfort for the patient without taking out contact lenses.

"With the introduction of our unique Tonometer Diaton – Glaucoma Eye Test through the Eyelid to the Family, General and Internal practices, we're proud to
