"At USANA, we deal with health on a cellular level, but our commitment goes far beyond that," said Doug Braun, USANA's chief marketing officer. "USANA wants our customers to achieve True Health, so we are sincerely committed to addressing real life problems and helping our customers reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This is why we created the RESET Challenge, to invite our people from all over the world to join each other in defeating one of life's most common and difficult challenges, losing weight."

USANA started the RESET Challenge to motivate product users and help them get in shape for 2013 by challenging them to shed the extra pounds. Thirty-three grand-prize winners will receive a variety of medical and spa treatments at the Sanoviv Medical Institute, which offers alternative, holistic and integrative health programs. The institute is located in sunny Mexico. Winners will also receive shopping sprees, makeovers and participate in a photo shoot. Overall, more than $300,000 in prizes will be awarded.

A grand total of 17,658 pounds were lost among the participants during the challenge.

  • 1,229 pounds – Australia and New Zealand
  • 4,873 pounds – Canada
  • 11,556 pounds – United States

Through USANA's RESET, numerous individuals have created their own challenges and success stories. USANA Associate Mikel Ann Hall lost 75 pounds using USANA's RESET program, maintaining an active lifestyle and recently completed her first Ironman triathlon. "One day I woke up sick and tired, angry and unhappy," Hall said. "I made the decision to do RESET again. USANA has taught me to challenge myself." *

*Results not typical. The average weight loss with RESET is 4.5–5 lb. in five days.
