UBM Canon, the Global Authority on the MedTech Industry, Announces Strategic New Hires to Supplement Its Marketing and Advertiser Media Solutions Team

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Canon, the world's premier medical device industry resource, today announced that is has added additional team members to strategically complement its strong consultative media solutions sales approach and to provide further client support.

"As part of our ongoing promise to clients to provide an unparalleled product portfolio and reach into the MedTech industry, we've supplemented our experienced consultative sales team with additional new hires," said Shannon Alo-Mendosa, Director of Sales, UBM Canon Medical Device Media Group.  "I'm very excited to bring to our team, individuals who have strong B2B sales backgrounds, including in the medical device industry. Medical device manufacturers and suppliers will continue to greatly benefit from the significant global and targeted marketing capabilities we offer."  

New team members include Betsy Anderson, Account Director for New England and Eastern Canada. Anderson has a wealth of experience in B2B and most recently worked at GlobalSpec where she focused on new business development, and also held previous sales managerial positions with Reed Business Information, Thomas Publishing, and PennWell Publishing.  

Jason Barlow, Account Executive for Northern California, brings with him previous Canon Communications experience, having worked on MD+DI and MX brands for several years.  Barlow also has experience working with small to medium sized businesses as a sales and marketing strategy consultant.

Delanie Gaylord joins the UBM Canon team as Account Executive for the Central and Northeastern U.S. markets. Gaylord brings to the team twelve years of experience in B2B sales, including previously working at UBM TechWeb and Canon Communications.
