Two of Psyche Systems' Customers to Speak at 2013 Executive War College

MILFORD, Mass., March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Psyche Systems Corporation is proud to recognize two of our customers for their outstanding achievement and recognition as leaders in our industry.  Aurora Diagnostics and Pathologists Diagnostic Laboratory have been invited to speak at this year's Executive War College on Laboratory and Pathology Management.

Fred Ferrara , Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Aurora Diagnostics will be presenting a session entitled, "Integrated Pathology Informatics: What We Need for Both Internal and External Success".

Julie Williams , MT(ASCP), Director of IT at Pathologists Diagnostic Laboratory will be speaking on, "Leveraging Informatics to Boost Local Pathology: How We Interface with Epic's EMR and Psyche to Monitor Client Service in Real Time."  Williams says, "With the current challenges of rapidly rolling out EMR interfaces to our clients, it is refreshing to have a project that has been a tremendous success start to finish".

"One big trend in healthcare today is for providers to adopt and use electronic health records (EHRs)," noted Robert L. Michel , Editor-in-Chief of The Dark Report and Producer of the Executive War College. "That raises the stakes for clinical laboratories and pathology groups, because they need to be proactive at integrating their laboratory information systems with the EHRs in use by physicians and hospitals. Both Aurora Diagnostics and Pathologists Diagnostic Laboratory can be considered 'early adopters' in their innovative solutions that add value to their client physicians and hospitals."

We at Psyche believe that all of our customers are unique, insightful and outstanding – to see that the industry is also recognizing the innovation and success that our customers are driving, and achieving, is a great validation of their efforts and we would like to congratulate them.
