Two Of The Nation's Top Specialists In Lupus, Drs. Swamy Venuturupalli & Daniel Wallace, Join In Expanding Research On Auto-Immune Diseases

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In a new association of nationally renowned specialists on Lupus and auto-immune disorders, Dr. Swamy Venuturupalli , is joining with Dr. Daniel Wallace to accelerate research into those diseases along with their expanded clinical practice. The two noted clinician scientists will base an aggressive and well-funded study program out of "The Wallace Rheumatic Diseases Research Center" in West Hollywood, CA. Dr. Venuturupalli established a strong Lupus research and public education program over the past ten years in his group practice with Beverly Medical Associates.

"The last several decades have expanded our understanding of the genetic and molecular causes of autoimmune diseases. This information now has to be applied to the care of patients suffering from these conditions, and that will be the focus of the next decade," explains Dr. Venuturupalli.  He notes that the move coincides with his desire for growth in the areas of patient education and autoimmune disease research and widens the service of their respective infusion centers.

In addition to evolving his clinical practice in the areas of lupus, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, Dr. Venuturupalli notes that the association will continue to teach and lecture on a wide variety of health topics. Dr. Venuturupalli explains his philosophy simply, "As a physician, I believe that every case is unique, and how lupus affects one person is vastly different than how it affects another. It has been my endeavor to try and understand each individual patient and tailor my approach to their particular illness."
