Top OTC Brand deploys Semantelli AETracker to monitor Adverse Events in Facebook

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Semantelli Corporation announced today that a $400 million OTC brand has deployed Semantelli's AETracker® to detect and manage adverse events, drug overdose and product complaints reported by consumers in brand sponsored Facebook pages, enabling it to continue its marketing plan with confidence in remaining compliant in its dialogue with customers.

AETracker™ is the healthcare industry's only software solution that detects and manages Adverse Events in company sponsored social media and mobile applications 24/7.

A Semantelli study found that Facebook has become the primary customer relations hub for many of the OTC brands and some brand Facebook pages generate close to 40,000 interactions a week.

In August of 2011, Semantelli launched AETracker to help healthcare companies monitor and manage adverse events reported on company owned Facebook pages. Semantelli later released a version of AETracker to monitor mobile apps and other sponsored social outlets.
