Date:10/30/2013

NEW YORK, Oct. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Dr. Albert Ambriz, a New York City cosmetic dentist, is an expert in crafting porcelain veneers; creating the perfect custom smile for his patients. Dr. Ambriz urges his NYC patients to take care of their smiles for whiter, brighter and healthier teeth as studies show appearance affects salary and relationships.

"A great smile goes a long way- but crooked and yellowing teeth are statistically shown to hinder chances of success," says Dr. Ambriz.

A U.S. survey found that good-looking lawyers earn between 10 and 12 percent more than less good-looking colleagues. Furthermore, nearly 40 percent of respondents to a 2012 study by Kelton Research said that they would not date someone with crooked teeth. And about 73 percent said that people with straight teeth are more trustworthy.

"It's not all for purely aesthetic reasons that I urge my patients to obtain their best smiles-but straighter teeth also means a healthier smile and whiter, brighter teeth combat signs of age," says Dr. Ambriz.

As Dr. Ambriz spreads the word about the importance of a healthy smile, he educates his patients that porcelain veneers treat teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, unaligned, and teeth with gaps.
