The Sino-Foreign Joint-Venture TEDA Puhua Hospital Established in Tianjin

TIANJIN, China, Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 26, 2012, TEDA Puhua Hospital, the first joint venture hospital in Tianjin city approved by Tianjin Municipal Government which was co-founded by TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "TEDA") and the Asia-Pacific Medical Group, celebrated a grand opening in Binhai New Area. It is another bold attempt of TEDA in the formation of diversified hospital investing patterns and the further exploration of the public hospital reform by positively introducing both social and overseas capital.

The distinguished guests attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony included the Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Lu Guoping; the Secretary and Director of Tianjin Public Health Bureau, Mr. Wang Hesheng; the Deputy Head of the Binhai New Area, Mr. Guo Jingping; the Director of the Administrative Committee of the Development Zone, Mr. Sun Sheng, the Representative from United States Ambassador, Ms. Rosemary Galant; the Jordanian Ambassador, Mr. Qaraleh Waha; and the Director of Taiwan Landseed Hospital and the Medical Reform Consultant of the State Council, Mr. Zhang Huanzhen, etc. The Chairman of TEDA Puhua hospital, Mr. Liu Xiaocheng, the Chairman of Asia-Pacific Medical Group, Mr. Cai Hancai, as well as the Director of Tianjin Public Health Bureau, Mr. Wang Hesheng addressed the ceremony.

TEDA Puhua hospital is a modern comprehensive hospital and its predecessor is the international medical department of TEDA which has eight years' experience in high-end medical services.  The hospital is located in the 1st, 5th, 11th and 12th floor of TEDA and has 12 clinic rooms including 29 deluxe single and deluxe suite patient rooms, each of which is equipped with ergonomic beds, independent bathroom
