The Neurosciences Institute Lab Liquidation Auction

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSurplus announced today that it will be hosting an online lab liquidation auction for the prestigious Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, California.

Founded in New York in 1981 and relocated to La Jolla in 1993, The Neurosciences Institute is a non-profit organization that carries out experimental research in neurobiology.  The Institute is now shutting down its lab spaces and BioSurplus will be hosting the timed, online auction on its secure platform.

The auction will be made up of almost 400 lots of equipment, including scientific instruments, disposables and furniture.  Among the available items are:  two 10'x10' soundproof rooms, -80 freezers, a Leica 2000R microtome, a Zeiss Axioskope microscope, an FPLC system, many incubators, scales, electrophoresis items, everyday bench top items and much more.

An on-site auction viewing will be held on August 7th and 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PDT at The Neurosciences Institute, 10640 John Jay Hopkins Drive, San Diego, CA 92121.  The auction will run from August 9th through the 16th, 2012.
