The Center for Business Intelligence Donates More than $5,000 to the Greater Boston Food Bank
Date:5/10/2011

WOBURN, Mass., May 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In an on-going effort to give back to the local community, The Center for Business Intelligence (CBI) announced today that the company will donate $5,200 to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

In conjunction with its annual Thanksgiving card issued to loyal conference attendees in November of 2010, CBI included a customer appreciation card offering exclusive savings toward a future conference of choice. This year, in the spirit of Thanksgiving and giving back, CBI pledged to make a donation to The Greater Boston Food Bank for each appreciation card submitted by March 31, 2011.

"We are thrilled with the results of the Thanksgiving promotion," said Kathy Stewart, Director of Marketing. "This was truly a win-win promotion - not only are we grateful to be able to thank and show appreciation to our dedicated customers, but we're truly honored to be able to help such a worthy, local cause."

The Greater Boston Food Bank is a nearly $63 million-a-year charitable business, distributing more than 34 million pounds of food and grocery products annually to a network of approximately 550 community hunger-relief agencies in a dedicated partnership to feed the hungry in eastern Massachusetts. Founded in 1981, The Food Bank now serves 190 communities and is a member of Feeding America - the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief organization.
