Texas-Based Hospital Expands Utilization of Streamline Health Document Workflow Solutions
Date:11/4/2010

CINCINNATI, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire / -- Streamline Health Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: STRM), a leading provider of document workflow solutions for hospitals, today announced that one of the largest faith-based, nonprofit health care delivery systems in the United States, will implement Streamline Health's Referral Order Workflow Solution across their multiple facilities. The solution provides an automated means of capturing referring physician orders while routing to the hospital's scheduling office, and linking the orders to the patient's medical record within Streamline Health's enterprise document management repository. The total value of the contract is estimated to exceed $400,000 excluding maintenance services and it is expected that the Referral Order Workflow Solution will be installed and operational in the first calendar quarter of 2011.

The healthcare system currently utilizes Streamline Health's accessANYware™ solution that provides enterprise access to a patient's document-based medical and financial records.  The nonprofit organization seeks to enhance the quality of patient care by expanding Streamline Health's flexible document workflow solutions and optimizing business processes for improved operational efficiencies across the enterprise.

"Streamline Health's document workflow solutions offer functionality and flexibility to help drive higher levels of productivity and accountability for critical business processes," said J. Brian Patsy, president and chief executive officer of Streamline Health. "We understand the organization's specific needs to streamline the referral order process across multiple facilities by providing a customizable document workflow solution that integrates with the patient's medical record and helps improve patient care, provider satisfaction and operating efficiencies. We are pleased to be working with one of the premier healthcare institutions in the state of Texas."

Mr. Patsy continued, "This order represents our 10th transaction for the fiscal year, which is substantially ahead of the number of transactions at the same time last year. The investments we made in our sales and marketing infrastructure this year are clearly translating into enhanced sales performance. We are very comfortable with the mix of license sales and hosted recurring revenue transactions. We expect to complete fiscal year 2010 on a strong note and look forward to fiscal 2011 with great enthusiasm."
