Teva Pharmaceuticals and the Philadelphia Eagles Award Four Grants to Greater Philadelphia Area Service Organizations

Teva Pharmaceuticals announced a five-year partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles at the start of the 2009 NFL season. Last year, the two organizations worked together on four projects, including Family Starting Line-Ups, the Community Red Zone, the Eagles Science Scholarship and the Eagles Community Quarterback Award. Eagles fans and Philadelphia natives can look forward to future community initiatives sponsored by Teva and the Eagles as part of their efforts to spread awareness about organizations and individuals that are making a difference in the community every day.

About Students Run Philly Style

Since Students Run Philly Style's inception in 2004, the program has worked to improve the health and well-being of over 2,000 of Philadelphia's youth. Students Run Philly Style helps youth develop lifelong healthy behaviors, do better in school and make safe choices by partnering them with adult mentors who train with them for nine months to achieve the seemingly impossible goal of completing a marathon or half-marathon. Students train three to four times a week from March to November and complete eight public road races each season in addition to bi-weekly summer clinics, leadership development opportunities and academic enrichment opportunit
