Tenex Health Announces Major Milestone with over 100,000 Procedures Performed with the Tenex Health TX® Technology, as well as Changes to the Senior Management Team
Date:12/4/2019

Tenex Health, Inc., a privately held, U.S.-based medical technology company providing healthcare professionals with minimally invasive technologies to treat chronic pain in soft and hard tissue, recently achieved a major milestone with over 100,000 procedures performed with the Tenex Health TX® technology.

Dr. Bernard Morrey, Chief Medical Officer of Tenex Health, said, “Our goal at the very inception of developing this technology was to achieve market adoption while assuring it was both safe and effective. It is therefore particularly gratifying to me as Chief Medical Officer to know that, not only is the efficacy rate as high as 85% to 90%, the complication rate requiring medical attention is less than 30 per 100,000 procedures. It would seem this satisfies my motive for becoming involved with this technology as it had, and continues to have, the potential to be a game changer in a wide range of clinical applications.”

Dr. Bernard Morrey Retires as Director and CMO

With this significant milestone validating the adoption of the technology within the market, Dr. Morrey has announced that he will be retiring from his day-to-day activities with Tenex Health and transitioning those responsibilities to the company’s strong base of medical advisors and physician consultants. Dr. Morrey will remain involved with Tenex Health in an emeritus role.

Chuck Grant, Chairman of the Tenex Health Board of Directors, said, “On behalf of the Board, as well as all employees and Stakeholders of Tenex Health, I want to sincerely thank Bernie for his skillful development of the Tenex Health product line, which has brought great relief and positive outcomes to our patients. In addition, I want to thank his wife and family for generously sharing him with Tenex Health while he undertook this project to bring this game changing technology to market. I know he and his family will enjoy the retirement time they will now experience. We appreciate the fact he will remain connected to Tenex Health in an advisory capacity into the future. I personally want to thank him for his support and friendship as we worked together to create value for all stakeholders and wish him a happy and healthy future.”

Jeremy Stitcher Appointed Director of U.S. Sales

Jeremy Stitcher, formerly Western Regional Sales Manager for the Company, has been appointed as Director of U.S. Sales. Jeremy has over 15 years of sales and sales management experience.

Mike Steen, General Manager of Tenex Health, said, “We are extremely pleased to have Jeremy serve in this expanded role with the company. Jeremy has demonstrated strong leadership ability and effective management of the sales process; we are excited to see him apply his skills on a national level.“
