Tandem Diabetes Care Announces Exercise of Option to Purchase Additional Shares in Initial Public Offering of Common Stock

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tandem Diabetes Care®, Inc. ("Tandem"), a medical device company and manufacturer of the t:slim® Insulin Pump, today announced that the underwriters of its previously announced initial public offering of common stock have exercised their option to purchase an additional 1,200,000 shares at a public offering price of $15.00 per share. As a result, the company will issue a total of 9,200,000 shares in the offering. The offering is expected to close on November 19, 2013, pending customary closing conditions.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Piper Jaffray are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Deutsche Bank Securities and Stifel are acting as co-managers.
