Talyst Updates Its AutoLabel® Solution

BELLEVUE, Wash., Dec. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Talyst has released an updated AutoLabel solution with enhanced customized features, including color-coded barcodes. The bar code technology ensures virtually 100% of medications have a scan-ready bar code and a human-readable label.

The improved AutoLabel is a complete barcoding solution that provides color-coded barcode and standard black and white transfer labels to improve patient safety at the bedside. New features include the ability to print drug images in color, on-screen pharmacist approval and flexible label choices.

"Talyst's main objective is to ensure patient safety," said Carla Corkern, Chief Executive Officer at Talyst. "The updated features in AutoLabel will give pharmacists more flexibility and options for their BCMA initiatives."

The American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Talyst will be exhibiting in booth #2431. For more information about the conference and sessions, visit
