TCS Healthcare Technologies Releases Three New Clinical Care Programs Within ACUITY

New AcuCare Programs Automate the Interface between Health Assessments for

Patients and the Generation of Customized Care Treatment Plans

AUBURN, Calif., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- TCS Healthcare Technologies, an industry leader in the development of medical management software applications through acuity advanced care(TM) (ACUITY), announced today that it has released three new clinical content programs, referred to as the AcuCare Programs (AcuCare). The three new AcuCare Programs cover the following disease-specific areas:

-- Asthma;

-- Chronic Heart Failure (CHF); and

-- Diabetes.

Rob Pock, Chair and Founder of TCS Healthcare Technologies, states "the release of the three AcuCare Programs provide care managers and other health professionals with key management and benchmarking tools to take medical management interventions to the next level. Each AcuCare Program has been created based upon evidence-based practice standards and national guidelines that are dynamically linked to all of the other attributes found within ACUITY's medical management software application."

Each AcuCare Program offered by TCS contains:

-- Two Health Risk Assessments (initial and on-going);

-- A Leveling Assessment that combines the risks identified in the Initial

Assessment with the Case Management Adherence Guidelines(C) (CMAGs) to

place the participant in one of three levels;

-- 10 to 12 Structured Care Plans that dynamically generate goals, medical

management interventions, and outcomes based on risk factors identified

in the assessments;

-- 12 Educational Fact Sheets appropriate for sending to program

participants;

-- Eight Care Program Letters (for participants and physicians); and

-- Four Care Program Reports.
