Stark Medical Secures GSA Schedule Contract, Looks to Supply VA
Date:7/29/2013

TAMPA, Fla., July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stark Medical Inc., (STARK) a leading supplier of medical supplies, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded GSA Schedule 65-IIA contract (V797D-30014) and are now certified to supply Medical Equipment and Supplies to the Federal Government. Acknowledging the growth in federal spending through the GSA, Stark Medical has listed their medical supplies on the government's electronic ordering system, GSA Advantage!®.

"This contract opens up significantly more markets throughout the country and affords us an opportunity to provide Veteran Affairs (VA) with quality medical supplies and surgical trays," states Dane Thomas, CEO/President at Stark Medical Inc. He adds: "This contract will expand our reach beyond the federal government to state, county, and municipal agencies, as we can now offer their emergency response agencies these products at fixed government pricing."

Stark Medical will be distributing National Vein's disposable diode Laser Fibers that are a cost effective alternative to OEM diode fibers. Their fibers come in three standard configurations and are available in both 980 and 1470 wavelengths. Stark Medical offers a single use fiber with a 600 micrometer core diameter with a 3French OD. Their thin wall fiber is also a 600 micrometer with a 2French OD. In addition, they also have a reusable (5X) fiber with a 600 micrometer with a 3French OD. These fibers measure 3 meters in length and are fitted with SMA 905 connectors.

In addition to laser fibers, Stark Medical is also a major provider of Compression Stockings providing the greatest support at the ankle level and slowly allowing the pressure to diminish as the stocking goes up over the thigh. These effective and comfortable compression stockings are available in all styles, sizes, compression and color.
