Date:2/23/2012

HOUSTON, Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The SimplyGo Portable Oxygen Concentrator by Philips Resironics is the first lightweight portable concentrator that delivers both continuous flow and pulse does at a weight of only 10 pounds.  Prior to the release of the SimplyGo the lightest weight continuous flow portable concentrator weighed in at a hefty 19 pounds.

The SimplyGo works on dual voltage meaning anywhere you go in the world you can plug the unit in to charge it or to use it on electricity.  The SimplyGo comes with one lithium Ion battery that will provide up to 3.75 hours of use in pulse dose mode at a setting of 2 and at a breath rate of 20 breaths per minute or for 2 hours in continuous flow mode at a setting of 1 LPM.  Additional batteries are available and slide in and out of the SimplyGo in seconds.  At a weight of only 1.5 pounds additional batteries are easy to carry.

The SimplyGo will deliver between .5 and 2 LPM in continuous flow mode and between .5 and 6 setting in pulse flow mode.  In addition the SimplyGo has a Sleep Mode similar to the Pulse mode; SimplyGo detects when the user begins to take a breath and then delivers a pulsed volume of oxygen determined by the setting. The Sleep mode is different from Pulse mode in that it provides increased sensitivity and a softer pulse for comfort. If no breath is detected for a period of time, the system automatically delivers a continuous flow of oxygen at a rate consistent with the last used Continuous Flow mode setting.

The SimplyGo Portable Oxygen Concentrator comes complete with the SimplyGo unit, AC power adapter, DC power adapter, mobile cart, one rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery, Accessory case and user manual.  The SimplyGo comes standard with a 2 year warranty and the customer has the ability to either a 3 year
