Simbionix USA Corporation, weltweit führender Anbieter von medizinischen Simulationsgeräten und Schulungsprodukten, gibt den Abschluss eines Vertrages mit der Duke University zur Lizenzierung chirurgischer Videos und anderer Schulungsmaterialien bekannt. Diese Ressourcen wurden von den Ärzten der Duke University entwickelt und decken die fortgeschrittenen Kompetenzen und Verfahren ab, die in Phase 2 des ACS/APDS Surgical Skills Curriculum for Residents behandelt werden.

Simbionix wird diese Materialien den Nutzern seines MentorLearn-Systems als Teil der Umsetzung des ACS/APDS Surgical Skills Curriculum for Residents kostenlos zur Verfügung stellen. MentorLearn, das webbasierte Simulator-Managementsystem, ist die optimale Lösung zur Verwaltung der Schulungs- und Ausbildungsanforderungen für die Simulator-Reihe von Simbionix.
