Siemens Mobilett Mira Mobile Digital X-Ray System Receives FDA Clearance

In addition, Siemens has redeveloped its mobile X-ray swivel arm system for the Mobilett Mira so that it not only moves vertically but also rotates up to 90 degrees, simplifying the examination process for clinical staff. Moreover, the swivel arm integrates all electric connection cables that conventional mobile X-ray systems usually carry externally. This feature, combined with the wireless detector, makes the Mobilett Mira a fully wireless mobile system that is not only more flexible, but also more hygienic, since every cable on a medical device is a potential germ carrier that requires regular maintenance and cleaning.

The Mobilett Mira is the first mobile X-ray system that can be maintained and updated via remote monitoring. Siemens Remote Services (SRS) regularly provides the system with recommended software updates.
