- Baldridge Award Winner Builds on Results of Pinpoint Quality(R)/ Pinpoint Compliance(R)

MEDai, Inc., an Elsevier company and leading provider of advanced healthcare solutions including hospital outcomes analysis and award-winning predictive analytics, has announced that Sharp HealthCare, a 1,700-bed, seven-facility system serving the San Diego area, has selected the company's Pinpoint Review(TM) product. "Collectively, these tools offer Sharp near-time access to clinical data for performance improvement, while Pinpoint Review, in particular, addresses readmissions and new and emerging clinical measures of care."

For the past nine years, Sharp has relied on MEDai's Pinpoint Quality to reduce urinary tract infection rates, reduce blood utilization, and monitor quality outcomes across diseases. MEDai's solutions also assisted Sharp in being recognized with the coveted Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award in 2007.
