Sequent Medical, Inc. lanza el microcatéter VIA

ALISO VIEJO, California, 11 de diciembre de 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sequent Medical, Inc. ha anunciado hoy la recepción de la Marca CE para el microcatéter VIA™, además de iniciar la introducción comercial de su nueva gama de productos en mercados selectos.

VIA se usará para el suministro y despliegue del sistema de embolización de aneurisma WEB® de Sequent, que se usa para tratar los aneurismas cerebrales. VIA está disponible actualmente en dos modelos, VIA y VIA PLUS.

"El microcatéter VIA proporciona una combinación optima de propiedades para la colocación estable de WEB, retirada y navegación, y permitirá a los médicos tratar una amplia gama de aneurismas a través de WEB", afirmó el doctor y médico Werner Weber, responsable del Departamento de Radiología y Neuroradiología Intervencional de Klinikum Vest, Knappschaftskrankenhaus, Recklinghausen, Alemania.
