Sequenom Announces Participation at UBS Global Life Sciences Conference

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sequenom, Inc. (NASDAQ: SQNM), a life sciences company providing innovative genetic analysis solutions, today announced the Company's participation at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference at the Grand Hyatt New York Hotel in New York City September 19-21, 2011.

Ronald M. Lindsay, Ph.D., Director and EVP of Research and Development, will present on Monday, September 19, 2011 beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET, to provide an overview of and update on the Company.  The presentation is expected to last approximately 30 minutes and will be web cast live through the "Investors" section of the Sequenom website at www.sequenom.com.  An audio replay will be available for 30 days following the initial presentation web cast.
