Sequenom Announces Participation At The Wedbush 2013 Life Sciences Management Access Conference

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sequenom, Inc. (NASDAQ: SQNM), a life sciences company providing innovative diagnostic testing and genetic analysis solutions, today announced the Company's participation at the Wedbush 2013 Life Sciences Management Access Conference at the Le Parker Meridien in New York, NY on August 13-14, 2013.

William Welch, President and COO, and Paul V. Maier, Chief Financial Officer, will present on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET, to provide an overview of and update on the Company.  The presentation is expected to last approximately 30 minutes and will be webcast live through the "Investors" section of the Sequenom website at www.sequenom.com.  An audio replay will be available for 30 days following the initial presentation webcast.
