Sentry Expands Services under Direction of New Chief Pharmacy Officer, Dawn DeAngelo, BS PharmD

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla., Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentry Data Systems, Inc., a healthcare intelligence technology company providing 340B pharmacy compliance solutions and clinical business analytic services, headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida announces the promotion of Dawn DeAngelo, BS, PharmD to Chief Pharmacy Officer.  The Chief Pharmacy Officer role will oversee a newly created department for Sentry that further supports the area of pharmacy analytic needs within the hospital environment.

Dr. DeAngelo's expertise has directly contributed to Sentry's expansion in the area of pharmacy operations with new services and a support platform for clients.  Her pharmaceutical insights have influenced the development of technology solutions addressing the business needs of today's hospital pharmacy. In this role, Dawn will direct all activities related to pharmacy analytics and interaction with clinical and administrative hospital personnel.

Sentry Data System's Client Services department and all customer support will continue to report to Dr. DeAngelo.  Dawn has served as Vice President and Director of Client Services, Regional Sales Vice President with Sentry Data Systems since 2008, and has held various clinical and operations titles for Healthcare institutions across the country. Dr. DeAngelo earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy and Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA.
